COSMO Jewellery Designs are made with high-quality components such as: Freshwater pearls, Austrian crystals, Swarovski crystals & Swarovski pearls, genuine & semi-precious gemstones, handmade glass, Island beach glass, paua (abalone), mother of pearl, genuine amber, shell, wood & Czech beads.
Brenda also creates one-of-a-kind hand-blended polymer clay beads. (see 'Island Bead Co' collection).
We use mostly sterling silver findings and some even with 10 & 14 kt gold-filled. We also use lead free pewter closures & findings as well as surgical steel ear hooks closures & findings.
The wire we use is a non-tarnish silver wire. It has a nylon coating over the sterling silver with copper thread core. Make sure to NOT use cleaners for this great wire - only use a damp cloth with mild soap & warm water .... do not expose wire to cleaners, chemicals, perfumes, hairsprays as they will compromise the integrity of the protective nylon coating. We also have available 14 kt gold-filled wire.
